Denkmal mit den schwangeren Frauen Münster | An die frühen Jahren ab 1921 erinnert das Denkmal mit den schwangeren Frauen, das der frühere Anwohner Martin Böttcher schuf. Damals, nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg, wurde die Kriegerheimstättengenossenschaft gegründet und das Land zwischen Düesbergweg und Güterbahnlinie, Kappenberger Damm und Sternbusch erschlossen. Junge Familien der aus dem Krieg heimkehrenden Soldaten, auch Kriegerwitwen konnten hier kleine Häuser auf den jeweils 1250 Quadratmeter großen Grundstücken bauen, die in den ersten Krisenjahren der Weimarer Republik als Anbaufläche für Gemüse und Obst zur Selbstversorgung genutzt werden sollten. - Realized with Pictrs.com
